Disobedience, Abstraction, and the Opposable (Hydroponics)

What is the refusal to follow instructions or behave in accordance with a law, rule, or order regardless if it is inferred, conditional, corporeal, or compulsory, whether by an outside entity or self imposed?

This is an edition of three hydroponic cabinets that are each growing a crop of tomatoes. The tomatoes were grown for Hopelink, a local food bank. At the conclusion of the exhibition one cabinet was donated to the Science Program at BEST High School in Kirkland, Washington.
