FUCK!...THE PRIZE

"Fuck! The prize" is an installation born from a moment of disappointment .Somehow in our mind we have moments where disillusion and frustration are bringing us to a moment similar to rage. From the refusal of my art-work at the Italian Celeste Prize I went into the idea of expressing this feeling by writing with miniatures of the same art work what I screamed at the moment of finding out that my work was not appreciated as much as I thought.
This installation has been realized with 1159 pictures cm.8,33 x 5,28 each of my work “The memory of pain”, fixed to a wall with a 5 cm. spring. Because of the length and the thinness of the springs the pictures are constantly shaking.
