Blue Emerald Cut Diamond

My work explores human desires such as longings for material wealth, social status, and power, which can easily develop into greed. We often make human relationships based on someone’s level of wealth and status, and a large part of mass media glamorizes the rapacious desires for material wealth and power and entices us to follow. I use visual languages that are understood as symbols of the pride, glamour, and luxury. Accumulation and repetition of these motifs in a certain pattern or shape is also employed in order to reinforce the excessiveness and obsession.
