The sculpture Summer Holiday is located on the ceiling and transports the viewer under the sea to play on high visual and conceptual contrast at the sight of a boy during summer vacation immersed in the sea polluted by oil.
The sculpture/installation Summer Holiday is part of the project The World Upside Down that involve artworks that force the viewer to overturn his point of view. A work between surreal and social that visually confusing and drive to reflect on current issues. The new generations, represented by sculptures of boys, have to confronted with decades of environmental devastation and seek another way to go.
