Passage #2

This image is taken form a sequence of “Insight”, a project where I have investigated the relationship between Man and Nature in the light of the atavistic human desire to return to the motherland. Nature, stripped of all references to time or place, is perceived as the primordial reality; it intimately communicates to Man the homesickness of an Edenic condition which constantly forces him to find the answer to a quest for meaning and truth. Only through rays of Light, leitmotiv of the whole journey, Man is enabled to penetrate the mystery of life in its multiplicity of meanings, finding unity and harmony.
