Tomato and Lemon
The concept of the entire work is to use citric acid of tomato and lemon to produce an electric voltage. The installation gives continuity to the work: "I do not see the time" catalog published on the installation of Terna Award 2002 and shaped by a garden with tomato plants, which was mounted on a circuit capable of powering a series of digital watches.
The artist starts with the two icons of tomato and lemon, made of marble statuary and supported on two pedestals of wood, and branches split a path in which feed, through citric acid to contain them, sounds and voltage. The chemical formula of citric acid, written ground with chalk, is accompanied by matter aesthetically and two projectors show two small media aluminum painted images created through the dissolution of the acid occurred tomato juice and lemon. In the end of the installation the two pictures depicting the work: “I don’t see the time”.
