Setting # the fall of Icarus
Ignoring his father's warning not to fly too close to the sun, Icarus plunged into the sea as his wings melted.
2. In "Tentativo di volo" ('an attempt to fly') in 1969, the Italian artist Gino De Dominicis emulates the movement of bird wings, flapping his arms repetitively. With this action he expected to induce in time a genetic mutation for himself and future generations.
3. Icarus elevates himself towards the light and plunges into the darkness of the abyss: human desire moves between opposites. In his fall is failure, as mankind expects to place all things in the sphere of his personal knowledge.
4. In this video it is sufficient to allow oneself the illusion... of the attempt.
