Urbanity and civility is attainable. Compassion, understanding and respect for each other’s personalities is something people experience daily in most cities. Respect for another human being is a restrain over taking it all for our ego, usage and pleasure. (i.e. I only take one seat on the bus and I may give it away to an elderly person) Same principle can be understood and applied worldwide above the bottom line of multinationals, the interest of profit making anonymous corps for a more fair world. Even the different personalities of buildings and conceptions of builders co-exist harmoniously within a city and it’s needed all of them to make a city.
