Paesaggio del terzo millennio n° 9

In the centre of the painting a tree and a road sign stand leaning across each other somewhat arrogantly, like two crossed swords from two different worlds fighting for control of their space.
The work is a silent witness to the attempt, of both one and the other to take over the space and create a boundary.
Or could it be that the road sign is supporting the tree, a symbol of an unlikely pact?
