Ubiquity Access Point
This project is a series towards a new definition of territory, of identity and mobility. It's a compulsion to move and to have objects - or part of those - generating a distance-deceiving connection to that which we love. It's an attitude that concentrates sadness in objects that feed on nostalgia.
I took a sample of ground at Pole Culturel Intercommunal (Pau, France).
It's the Portable Ground 43°18’07.00 N 0°24’ 00.00 W which I've been walking on for a year. I move it carrying it on my shoulders in a transparent case creating a constant recontextualization of the Portable Ground for onlookers.
I've been looking for a place in Moscow where to create an "Ubiquity Access Point" using the french Portable Ground as an excuse to talk about the concept of "care" and involve the public in the search for a spot where to install this Portable Ground and pick up a Russian one.
