The chair I propose here, is part of a research on phytomorphic chairs that led me to analyze different types of plants, trees that I see while walking. I added to my collection the missing leaf, inspired by a cosmetic store with products derived from cannnabis. A leaf of marijuana is considered transgressive, challenged, loved, and therefore prohibited even for this reason more interesting. The elegance of its form has been a challenge for me, the aim is to explicit a very vain conflict between what is good and what is not.
The ability of the artist is transforming the real through the art: in this case a two-dimensional reality, the leaf in a three-dimensional object, the chair, not simply adding a spatial dimension, but proponing an artistic interpretation that will distinguish it from any other object.
