Great Wall "da divisione a unione"

On March 2010 I travelled to Beijing and this made me think a lot on the meaning of Great Wall. This wonderful wall, used in the past to divide, now brings together lots of tourists and travellers coming from all around the world. The work is back lighted and makes feel to the observer different emotions depending on if it is on or off. The red reminds to us the blood of all the people dead during its construction, but when it's on reminds the passion of travelling of the tourists who want to know this piece of history. The Great Wall on the background is torn symbolizing the end of division and the passage for the change of different cultures and countries.
