La marelle

In this work I've rivisited the game of the hopscoth with 2 figures in white gesso. The choice of the gesso is less an allusion to the classical sculpture than an aesthetic choice for transporting the scene in abstract space between reality and memory. The rare points of colour (in the accessoies) and and the absence of base (the two children stand directly on the ground) works in the same direction.
