Intermission

Animation, Architecture, Landscape, 3D animation, 00:40
"Intermission" is a double sided projection involving two continual looping computer animations of a proscenium stage. On one side of the projection is a view from the performer from the stage. On the other is a view from the audience's perspective. The projection screen would be suspended in mid-air within a dark space and the sounds of the projector fans would be amplified by microphones in real time. The spectator can walk around the piece viewing the projection from either the performer's or the audience's perspective. This project began on the intent of physically manifesting the 'fourth wall' (the invisible barrier between the performer and the spectator) and infinitely expands the time of waiting between performances.
