MI LUZ is the last part of a symbolic and intimate dialogue with herself. For several years, she sought her own LIGHT to cross this historical moment where moral values were at a low point.
The feeling of impotence that often seizes us when confronted with the mystery of life, forces us to question our own limitations and realize the need of a beyond.
It is this need that pushes Gonzalez to venture into a fascinating inner search where the LIGHT transforms into a recurring icon of this thirst for knowledge.
She does not seek for an escape from the present but rather a path of maturity so she can live her presence with the awareness and certainty, that after the darkness, comes the LIGHT.
It is also thanks to this LIGHT that González continues to remove ... and stripping her works until the point of leaving nothing but the essential. Yet to reach this ... such effort ... what distance covered ... and simply her search into spirituality ...
And so… it is so that only in the silence of the essential can we feel the soul who touches us…
