MOMMIE DEAREST

Three panels printed directly onto white aluminium. Part of the series 'The Silent March', 'Mommie Dearest' deals with the effects of human trafficking and the international sex trade. Taken in the northern part of Myanmar, this chld represents millions more like him who are abused on a daily basis, sold for pennies, cut open for their organs and frequently used for hard labour. His aggresiveness towards the world at large is evident and yet if we would stop for more than a second and try to comprehend, we'd realise that simply holding him would do a world of good.
