The Way We Were

The Way We Were

As modern life plays out we always seem to be short of time. But we adapt and get on - the past is forgotten and its traditions gradually abandoned. The 70s & 80s hold fond memories for me. It was a time when families would regularly gather to celebrate shared love, diversity and history. This piece is homage to the family - to the coming together: to the playing, talking, laughing, eating, drinking, jokes and stories being passed from one generation to the next. Its a celebration of how we remember these times and how they endure in us today.

Thanks Petr, I hope soon to come to London.
I am using a mix of cement, latex and acrylic components. It is a stone material, thats possible to add on wood or other basics and once dry, it gets very hard.
Good work
