Barrea silent weaves

Walking in the thick tangle of the woods is a form of meditation and the rays of light dancing among the branches encourage the deep path.
My paintings explore the yin side of life and nature, where space is suspended, silent, seemingly motionless, at most lulling, and everything listens to itself, pure resonance of everything.
Western culture often misunderstands the value of this energy dimension that Feng Shui defines as latency, yet it is an integral part of every life cycle, it is winter that keeps the seeds, it is the feminine that knows how to listen and nourishes, it is the dark where dreams can redefine themselves.
