Dipinto, Figura di donna e fiori

Painting, Plants , Nude, Human figure, Love, Acrylic, 35x50cm
In this work I was influenced, at least formally, by the Degas dancers that I studied at the Academy some time ago.
Unlike the French master who in his work wanted to portray everyday, uncomfortable and sometimes anti-aesthetic reality, in my work there is always a fusion between incorporeal and material nature.

A lively and shapely female bust is at the center of a completely imaginary ethereal scenario.
The naked body is tangible like the corolla of a flower and the dress, opening onto the ideal scenario, takes on the appearance of petals that flutter delicately expanding into the blue space.

The idea I have of the feminine is linked to the spiritual aspect of the human being and I associate this quality with kindness and delicacy towards the other, with hospitality and the ability to listen.

I think that regardless of gender, man, woman or other, every person of modern times needs to recover their feminine side which, due to a succession of social and cultural events, has slowly faded away, creating an imbalance in individual personalities and an unease in interpersonal relationships.
