The panel is made up of 31 different small works of various sizes painted with the egg tempera technique mixed with raw pigments on cotton paper, combined to form a single large work.
The individual paintings depict a series of activities performed by the hands which symbolize anniversaries, holidays, celebrations such as: the fall of the Berlin Wall, the Prague Spring, the invasion of Hungary, the Winter Solstice, etc.
