Bonsai on Bamboo, wire tree sculpture

Made of 24 gauge steel wire that was allowed to rust, producing a warm dark brown color. The tree is bonded to a small piece of slate, covered with sea sand and pebbles, then painted in yellow, green and white India ink. The sand and pebble mixture has the appearance of moss covered earth. The sculpture is planted in a rectangular, light green, glossy ceramic container. This sculpture includes a small bamboo platform. All the colors used are "light fast" and will not fade.
