MADRE - MOTHER

The work is a tribute to the maternal image and shows some symbolic representations of mothers in the world. The head can be installed both above and below the canvas, to remember how its placement is wide-ranging within the family context. As it is located in the middle, to represent the centrality of the physical, psychological, cultural and spiritual role that all mothers have always occupied in the various societies, highlighted by the various images it is covered with. It rests on a revolving base, from which emerges a beam of LED light that illuminates it, to signify how much and how, it is the historical reference point in the family, despite the social diversifications that distinguish it and characterize it.
