La meccanica delle ombre

Over the years and after many studies, Milena now uses a particular and unique technique that stands out from traditional painting. It is more tied to a photographic impression, to the Man Ray experiments but with the aim of transforming these into pictorial matter. Technically the works are born from deposits of dust - pigments fallen or blown on a previously treated flat surface. Poetically there is a mental journey between the memory of the iris and the affective one, buried in the interior. A visionary and real imaginary find, an impossible reality that floats in the void and makes it possible to make a story non-descriptive but evocative and mysterious.
