Home secrets

Although we encounter secrets in every area of life, they are perhaps most destructive when kept in the home. In every family there are some secrets, embarrassing stories buried in the silence.

Secrets that fester, unspoken and misunderstood, can erode the very foundation of a family, sometimes beyond repair.

For the installation I used the book of the Slovak author that speaks about the family relations. Cutting the words from the pages I removed the story and the empty place was filling by the shadow of silence. Retained punctuation points to the emotions accumulated in the unknown story.
