A DRAWING FOR “THE CLOUDS- CONTEMPORARY ART”

A small exhibition in a small gallery. A good start really painstaking. Daniela Politelli talks about herself and about the signs. With a few drawings ... Drawings? None or almost.
There's only one that looks like a graphic, it represents a sitting man seen from 'high, and we can barely realize that the section is obtained using six different pens.
In Daniela Politelli's (Naples, 1979)preparation of the work the design is there, but is three dimensional. It is an interpretation of the drawing as a mental projection of a scenario, what happens when you imagine something. A sign that materializes not on paper but in space, which has its guidelines in Cartesian axes drawn with steel cables and results in a peak of nylon that follows its path describing everyday objects. In this case, the main installation of the exhibition represents two chairs that flank arranged L-shaped, almost in a conversational approach; one is anchored to the horizontal axis to emphasize its connection with the land, with the material, the other one to the vertical that seems to reach the sky and the spirit.
