La Sedia

A chair is an object of common use, it gives us relief when we are tired, yet this object can become the worst of nightmares, if we think of the electric chair, or those chairs made for those people who can not walk anymore sun. I represented a closed chair in a cell, a floor made of wildflowers, a night with a strong moon, a back of the chair that turns into a staircase, a cage hanging from a thread with a heart of gold imprisoned. This is my complaint against the death penalty that still exists today in many countries. I believe that many people have a future marked by their social condition. No one can take your life, paradoxically even death becomes life through the birth of flowers, back of the chair is a ladder that should lead man to greater awareness the cage is a social condition often difficult to change.
I created a heart with 'golden leaf' because I like to think that a human heart is still something to be recovered and not to be eliminated
