Letizia Ardillo- Sefer-

The work is called Sefer, which in the Hebrew language means book but also scroll and journey. Starting from these three words the artist builds his map where he imagines moving towards a goal and at the same time approaching, return. In this becoming there is no starting point or arrival but there are a thousand possibilities to live.
The work looks like a book in which a small scroll rolls up that links three images together. On the left page, the cosmos is represented in the early stages of creation, in the center the paths drawn by man and finally the universe that is modeling to his will. The element of writing present in the collages of fragments of ancient pages contrasts with the black and golden images of these universes.
