1/1 (uno di uno)

My production is divided into three collections of visual books...analytical, conceptual and naif. 1/1 (one to one) belongs to the analytical one, where I highlight peculiarities of book to get back at this with surprise after long life together: in this case its material unit and finitude. The material unity is what has distinguished the book right away from the media that preceded it...and distinguishes it even in the Internet age, where more and open resources lead to a constant feeling of incompleteness of knowledge. 1/1 (one to one)celebrates unity and finitude through a single continuous and closed element that, stylized, seamlessly develops cover and pages.
