This is a painting telling the story when you are expected to behave in a certain way but because of your nature or different culture, you are not able to fit up to the standards.
Nature always wins, it is wild, colourful and truthful. You can be someone else from the outside but inside you will remain yourself. You will eat rice with hands while being surrounded by friends. However, among strangers, you will use a fork.
