Blind Man's Buff

The installation refers to the game ‘Blind Man’s Buff’, also known as ‘Blind Cow’, which becomes very serious at a certain point. The ‘freeze’ moment presented in the installation points to a ‘Forced to Blindness’ situation, when a person is unable to see, thus unable to evaluate the situation he/she faces. The background is a painting of a perspective in black/yellow (nature’s warning colors) and the self-portrait photograph is located at the vanishing point.
The curtain made out of cables disturbs the vision of the viewer, and force him to make an effort in order to see beyond the curtain.
