Who Is Who

In my photographs, the bandage is a metaphor that wants to denounce the loss of consciousness and autonomous thought, symbolising "the senses black-out and the resulting impossibility for the represented subjects of thinking with their own head."
The depicted characters succumb to their state of flattening of spirit and thought without rebellion. They remain motionless in the face of homologation which lists them as pawns of a role play, where every move is predestined and the will have no influence.

The immobility that characterises these indistinct faces is interrupted by two photos, where rebellion manifests itself as a breath of air in a claustrophobic atmosphere, but those images represent only the exception to the rule, just as in reality
