Installation Shot "UNSEEN INSTANTS" The OSB furniture provides a seating space to read "Volunteer Journal" and provides a link to the cheap and improvised material used by volunteers and young design alike. The Wall Text: "PATRIARCHY BIG PROBLEM MY FRIEND" refers to a Graffiti on the wall of a migrant occupied building on Lesvos. By converting the street art into an Wall Text it becomes a tag line for the exhibition space. A continuation of this idea in a different space could include markers for visitors to write on the surface of the wall to create an interactive piece.

Is the remnants of a festival? A holiday in outdoors? Or something much more existential? Indeed it depicts an illegal camp in the brushes on the shores of Lesvos where refugees were hiding who were faced with the very real threat of deportation. The aesthetics again remind of the language of landscape paintings.

It is a reminder that places of tragedy are much more multi-faced than portrayed in the media. Furthermore it, again, is a reference to the typical age group of volunteers and it's "coping strategies".
