Some white lilies are placed in the room. I start to embroider them with needle and silver-gold thread writing the beginning of the poem "Endymion", by J.Keats. The poetry will make the spectator think about the concept of Beauty and its impermanence. With the needle I am creating wounds on the flower' surface, but I am also repairing it with the precious thread, like a kintsugi. Using the gold, the suffering of the wounds will become beauty itself, and it will be, at last, the only rest of the performance, that after my intervention will be created by the natural decadence of the plant itself; as in our lives, sometimes the hardest and unexpected experiences become the ones that is worth living for, and be remembered.
