TITLE: COMFORT ZONE

We are stung by information every now and then. Gory butchery, severe injustice, cruelty unleashed on the human race become our morning news. It is this grotesque canvas that we take back home from at the end of the busy days. And then we lay our tired bodies on the mattress. A cushion is what we need. And there is no free lunch. We buy it. We buy it at a very high price -- ignorance. Ignorance enables this comforting numbness. But can we look the other way always? Is that possible or are we haunted by the zombies no matter what? The cushion and our ignorance are made up of a lump of violent history.
