Borderline
Lebanon is full with camps of syrian Refugees. Those so called Informal Tent Settlements are communities of refugees from mostly the same town or area, that fled together and live in poverty in improvised tents along the Syrian Border in Lebanon. The can be found everywhere, from the north to the south. While men are trying to get day labour and can be seen sitting and waiting in towns and villages, women and childred either work in fields or take care of the "household". Although the camps are often muddy and dirty, the housing is kept very clean and even the most worn-out piece of clothing is being washed and hung to dry regularly, while kids play with whatever the find.
In Lebanon the refugees are tolerated but not accepted as refugees to prevent, that they will remain even after the war is over. Therefore the official term for the refugee camps in Lebanon is ITS (Informal Tent Settlement).
