Undoubtedly painting comes from painting and an humble confrontation with the masters is the way through which it is possible to find one's personal expressive means. One of the masters I mostly appreciate is Afro Basaldella.Studying painting means painting, copying and stealing. I don't intend to show the most direct studies, yet. It would be nonsense. Afro is peerless, and, moreover, he belongs to his time. I look for my own language to express the time I live in.
