Quel che resta

This is what remains today of the Maremma of a time. The land that undergone after the war, had managed to sprout again thanks to the agriculture and the work of the countrymen, feeding different persons and allowing to all a dignified life in spite of the poverty.
A lost scenery, this that remains there are only wreckage and deserted grounds.
But what would our grandfathers and great-grandparents think if after so much work and sacrifices they should see everything these?
To whom and for whom have they worked much? Is their future peculiar so or at least as if they were imagined him?
