Self - portrait - Behind the reflection 01, there is the last of a series of works created between 2009 and 2016, which explore the relationship between the time, eye and body. This portrait concerns the intuition of the presence of light and movement in the space beyond the known. It also raises the question of the reality reflected in the mirror and the reflection as a converted image. The image of the portrait in this case is a filter between the visible and invisible. The removal of the mirror layer, and therefore the reflection, opens and connects two spaces: the two-dimensional work surface with the projection of the portrait meets and integrates the space behind the mirror. The mirror becomes an opening, a window in the portrait that opens to the dimension of work, into the space of the action. Light, space, movement, sound and silver are elements that contribute to the building of the portrait, from here comes the need to present the video in the reverse mode compared to the dynamics of the action.
