»Saltos de Marimán« is part of the series »Anti-Gravity studies« that has emerged in the Chilean Pucón, a place of my childhood. Like coloured brushstrokes, I blend into the surrounding and become a component of the image. I take my body to the limits, and put it into a extreme and dangerous borderline situations. Physicality plays an almost sculptural role. The work visualises gravity of the figure; a physical body that is fragile in our mediasatured world, where it loses its importance and significance.
