Senza titolo

The canvas represents the slender legs of a boy from Milan in his bedroom. In this painting I wanted to condense my all most recent research, with which I publicly unveil my obsession that has defined me as a person and, I believe, will define me as an artist. However, the intention is not that of illustrating my personal relationship with this boy, Tommaso, but of retroactively recollecting the desire for the unattainable. In the specific case of this work, I unusually cropped the original photograph and excluded the elbows and the feet from the composition.
