My own Still Nature

When I got the task of doing a “Naturaleza Muerta” (that’s how we call the Still Lifes in Spanish, it literally translates as “Dead Nature”) I became attracted to the idea of using this genre that essentially deals with unanimated objects, that are considered external to the subject, to present myself. This curiosity was detonated by the idea of finding something “dead” in myself and nowadays I would add blood, semen, mucosa, saliva and ear wax to the composition.
