Oltre lo sguardo (2016) is an artwork structured with precise golden ratio. Every proportion is based on the number phi 1.61803. In fact, the radius of the larger circle of the sculpture (that appears to be a truncated cone) is of 1.61 meters, fan the height of the sculpture reaches 3.4 meters (elevated 20 cm off the ground).

The sculpture is a truncated cone devoid of planes that act as bases, vertically placed, in such a way that the viewer sees a large "circle".
The circle is the symbol of perfection, completeness, one of the most striking figures and meaningful in symbolism, it expresses unity, totality, but also the possibilities of evolution, because it is like a large container that accommodates endless opportunities for development. Its symbolic power is such that the circle is "magical."
The circle is a representation of one of the most difficult concepts: the idea of infinity and eternity. This interesting geometric figure propels us out of ordinary time, the circular tour can be an infinite movement, perpetual, hypnotic, since it returns on itself, foreshadowing the concept of "eternal return".
The sculpture exterior is made of mica sheet while the inside is completely mirrored steel.
Fundamental to the latter to enhance its peculiarities: the reflection of the image.
Being a truncated cone the image that will be reflected inside the circle, it will be nothing but the inversion of heaven and earth.
The mirror is a symbol, it is the opening of a new port on the reflections on what leads us to new horizons, thwarting what becomes conventional and not more conviction.
The English term for mirror comes from the Latin mirari, "wonder, watching in amazement." The surprising nature of the mirror is linked to the way in which it captures our imagination in its apparent depth, the feeling that the mirrored image beyond the immediate reality you might see something completely different. The mirror then gives an inverted image of reality. "What is above is like what is below," says the emerald table of Hermetic philosophy, which integrates matter and spirit, what is visible what is invisible, research the laws that express the Causes raw and, in their synthesis, it expresses the only immortal and universal Being Reality.
The purpose of the hermetic philosophy is to bring together what is divided: the high with the low, the transcendent with the immanent, working to end the exile of God in the minds of men.
This philosophy tells us that the One, the Divine, descending down to his creation process, does not change its essence, neither loses his powers. He is immanent in all, hidden from the eyes of those who are not able to see. He remains one and is present in all living things through him. Without him nothing would have been created. He lives forever invisible under the multiplicity.
The human being must understand that his “essence", his immortal soul is a spark emanated from that God does not manifest, unnamed, pure spirit that reigns in the universe forever.
