The painting captures the moments at which it is being created. It is a spontaneous registration led by thoughts and feelings flowing at a particular moment. Joy, reluctance or impatience influence the process of painting, being captured on canvas. They leave marks that affect the future events. The nonfigurative nature of the work prompts its later interpretation, but when a painting is once defined and named, it is embedded in memory so that it is difficult to be replaced by another one. Ready interpretations, such as systems of beliefs or values, limit the possibility of developing new ones.
