Prism
On its four layers of laser-cut stainless steel you find embossed profiles of faces and vein-like hints of cables symbolising the stream of information online.
Each layer leads the viewer to the center of the painting where two faces look at each other in the smallest area of the painting by proportion as a symbol of privacy and togetherness.
The whole painting was painted with a rarely used pigment that has the ability to split light like a prism. therefore it shines in all colours found in the spectrum of a rainbow. This color was purposely used as a reference to a prism that splits light in a similar way. A reference to the prism itself is also made by the shape given to the painting.
