this painting is a result of the co-existence of the virtual and material world. through appropriating images from the web and magazines i created a digital collage which then was printed on fabric and later physically modified with paper and paint. in this manner i compiled a colourful multi-layered painting that responds towards the tendency of high gloss presentation, digitalisation and overproduction, representing our globalised patchwork society.
