Oil on re-weaved canvas and canvas's painted threads

Re-thinking the surface of painting; the surface of something is the condition for an image to take place. In the case of a painting the surface of the canvas is usually taken foregrounded while on the contrary this surface is a manifesting physical condition. The more this condition is approached as a medium rather than merely a necessity the more it has the ability to manifest the result. From the preparing method to the type of fabric used, each of these decisions results to a different outcome.
In the particular artwork, I am trying to find out how this fabric that is used to receive an image (painting) is itself a material composed out of different threads. Each of these threads are weaved in a particular way. After a complex procedure I have managed to separate the threads from there weaved pattern and by doing that, my painting approach was dictated by this change.
Eventually my approach shows that in everything that is taken to be foregrounded or the necessary condition, there already exist an infinite number of potentials to emerge; by re-thinking what is usually taken as standard or fact authentic change is achieved.
