The island of Rabbits
It’ s October 3rd, 2013. Nearly 400 people are missing. They were approaching Lampedusa, but stopped before. They remained on the Island of Rabbits. We will never know their names.
You can still see them, when the sea opens its curtain: they walk under a starry sky without stars, in a dawn without the sun.
They are souls without a face and perhaps there, in the sea, have found their peace.
