This piece is part of a cycle of chalcographic prints that have emerged from another study of the vegetal realm.
The process started with the inspection of the shape and structures of such organisms and gradually reached an unusual microcosm of diverse creatures.
Realized utilizing various formal engraving solutions, some of these elements appear petrified, as if they were residue of a lost identity, while in others we can see an internal structure that reveals their hidden geometries; some are so evanescent that they are ready to disappear at any moment.
Inside this indefinite and timeless place the various figures fluctuate like apparitions, creating areas with different densities and meaning.
