Humanness Series

The work's title examines the issue of humanity in todays world, it aims to illuminate the topic of 'peace in art'. The viewer is asked to consider how the experiences of inner freedom and awareness of self in the midst of worldwide conflict and despair can change oneself and therefore go onto make wider, positive changes within society. The rapid and expressive gestures that zip across these compositions go on to inform the sense of rhythm and buoyancy that define individual human emotion.
