Contaminazioni

This art piece was created from a Marco Chiodoni's idea, valid pittoric guide in La Macchia Association, that works in my zone and that I attend with assiduity.

The idea was to choose two or more art pieces from different artists, living or not, who have lived in epochs distant from each other, paintings distant from each other, representations without points of communication. A language that could create a combination, a thread and that could make them live togheter without creating disturbance at the eyes of the observer, generating a visual armony.

I have choose "La Musa e Il Poeta" by Giorgio Dechirico and a bit from the famous art piece "La Nascita di Venere" by Sandro Botticelli.

Contaminazioni (contamination) is for me a metaphor that well describes the period we are living. Every form of culture, although different and distant, can "contaminate" each other, with knowledge and intelligence, that can make a new model of cultural cohabitation with good outcomes for everyone.
